【新德里】印度储备银行(RBI:Reserve Bank of India)使结帐组织负有义务到10月15日前把在印度境内结帐的所有支付数据保管在国内的期限，在周一到期了，但美国运通(American Express)，维萨卡(Visa)，万事达卡(Mastercard)，亚马逊(Amazon)，贝宝(Paypal)和西联汇(Western Union)等主要国际公司未能满足它。
　RBI周一没有发表任何公报关于是否会延长截止日期，或者未达到这一期限的公司采取何种行动。政府消息人士表示截止日期不太可能延长。
　虽然没有官方消息关于RBI的立场，但银行业消息人士说，在国内78家结帐公司中，有15家尚未遵守。中央银行不会立即惩罚未达到数据本地化规范的支付公司，但如果他们在截止日期的10月15日尚未这样做，他们将必需提交一份遵守规范的时间表。知情人士告诉经济时报，大多数在数字支付领域营业的公司都遵守或提交了合规时间表。
　在数据本地化规范下，所有端到端交易细节或收集·处理和在国内存储的信息，满足本地数据保护法(local data protection laws)规定后，才被允许转移到任何其他国家。
