"Birth of Judaism and eastern propagation" Slide show Episode 1：Turn to the Self.
＜Slide show Episode 1＞
The paperback of my book "Birth of Judaism and eastern propagation (The origin of Christianity)" in English edition
and in Japanese edition
are now available on Amazon site. The Chinese version too, should be coming soon. I hope that you will read it together with the electronic version of "An Epic Tale of the People of the Covenant (The origin of Christianity)."
This book is a compilation of my impressions posted on SEAnews. However, the publication of SEAnews has been suspended for the time being, and I am concentrating on promoting and deepening the content of my book.
The secret story of the birth of Judaism
By the way, the Old Testament suggests that the Jewish conquest of Canaan was mainly carried out by the Ephraim and Manasseh tribes of the Proto-Mongoloid descent, with several generations of time lag from Moses' Exodus.
Interestingly, the Japanese imperial family seems to be descended from the Ephraim and Manasseh tribes who came to the Japanese archipelago. This is the main content of my book.
Allah the Father
Thomas, who is considered to be the founder of the Eastern Christian Church, preached to the East, from Assyria to India and even to Peking, leaving behind the words and deeds of Jesus, the Gospel of Thomas.
It seems that Jesus spoke Aramaic during his lifetime, so I think he pronounced God Allah.
Allah means God in Aramaic and seems to be Yahweh in the Jewish dialect, that is, Hebrew. It is believed that Muhammad came into contact with Judaism and Christianity through the Gospel of Thomas, and founded Islam, which is devoted to Allah.
An appropriate statement
In the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus captures each opportunity to let listeners return to original Self and speaks out each word. If it is expressed by Zen word (禅語), it is 『対一説(an appropriate statement)』.
In the Rinzai sect(臨済宗), students are given training tasks. This task is called a koan(公案). When they practice meditation, the scholars are called one by one to the master's room and present their answers to the koan. This answer is called the kenge(見解). The Gospel of Thomas is exactly the Koanroku (公案録) of Rinzai Zen. And this book is my take on the Koan of Jesus.
Many of the first will be last
Jesus said, "Many of the first will be last
" in the Gospels. According to Mr. Sasagu Arai, author of the Japanese version of The Gospel of Thomas, this word is used as so-called "flying logition" in different contexts. In the Gospel of Mark and Matthew, it suggests that values will be reversed at the forthcoming end. The Gospel of Thomas takes one step further and asks, "If you seek to truly 'live,' you should return to the beginning (of the world). And if you do so, you will be able to find 'Kingdom of Heaven' in common daily things.
Turn to the Self
Dogen Zenji (道元禅師1200-1253), the founder of the Japanese Soto Zen School (曹洞宗), also advices in his Scripture 《Fukan-zazengi (普勧坐禅儀The Way of Zazen Recommended to Everyone)》, "Learn to withdraw, turning the light inwards, illuminating the Self. (Doing so), your body and mind will drop off naturally, and original-Self will become manifest." In other words, the reign of original Self, that is, realization of the kingdom of God is manifest.
Linji Yixuan(臨済義玄), the founder of the Rinzai sect, preached as follows; "You should turn the light inwards, illuminate the Self immediately and do not seek anything else. If you then find yourself similar to Buddha and unharmed, you have already got it."(Rinzairoku/LinJi lu 臨済録)
What is "Baptism with The Holy Spirit"?
According to the dialectic of the Gospel of John,
【Thesis】"A man can possess eternal life through accepting testimony of the Son of man and being baptized by him." (John 5:24)
【Anti-thesis】But "The one who comes from the earth cannot accept the testimony by one from heaven." (John 3:32)
How then can a man possess eternal life?
【Synthesis】"If you want to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, you can just go back to the word which was with God in the beginning (John 1:1) and certify that God is truthful. (John 3:33)"
When he said, "You are Huichao," Zen Master Fayan thrusted vivid Self in Huichao in front of his eyes.
