"Birth of Judaism and eastern propagation" Slide show Episode 2:A Gospel of 'Single one'.
<Slide show Episode 2>
During his second missionary journey, Paul landed in Neapolis in Macedonia, went through Athens to Corinth, the capital of Achaia, and stayed there for a long time, preaching the gospel to Jews and Gentiles. But after Paul had left Corinth, factional activities occurred in the Corinthian Church, as factions of Apollos, Paul, Peter and Christ. When Paul was in Ephesus on his third missionary journey, the Corinthian church sent three representatives to ask Paul for guidance.
Paul quotes from the book of the prophet Isaiah, saying, "The Spirit can only be understood by the Spirit, and is beyond human comprehension. But Christians can understand all things clearly through the Spirit." And he persuaded them to return to the heart of Christ.
In his 《First Epistle to the Corinthians》, Paul saysas follows:
The Spirit and of power
When I first came to you, dear brothers and sisters, I didn't use lofty words and impressive wisdom to tell you God's secret plan. For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified. My message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit.
Divine Gift
We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. No one can know a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit, and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit. When we tell you these "Divine Gifts" that God has freely given us, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths.
The mind of Christ
The natural man can't receive these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can't understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. For, "Who can know the Lord's thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?" (Isaiah 40:13) But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:1-16)
The Buddha Dharma is only entrusted from Buddhas to Buddhas
Some Japanese who see the above passage of 《First Epistle to the Corinthians》 will recall the section of
《Lotus Sutra Chapter 2 Expedient Means: only entrusts from Buddha to Buddha》.
"But stop, Shariputra, I will say no more. Why? Because what the Buddha has achieved is the rarest and most difficult-to-understand Law. The Buddha Dharma is only entrusted from Buddhas to Buddhas."
Gnosis = profound prajnaparamita
Around the 1st century AD, when the Mahayana Buddhism movement advocating "prajnaparamita," that is. 'Wisdom to the Pure Land,' emerged in northern India, the tide of "
Gnosis (intellectualism)" rose in Greece and Rome at the same time.Jesus, Paul, Apollo, and Peter all touched upon the tide of Gnostics and are seen to have threw themselves into the church movement of Gentile Jews. They all shared a Gnostic ideological base. Therefore, Apollo, who did not know Jesus at all, could preach the way of Jesus, and Paul, who had never been taught by Jesus during his lifetime, was able to establish Christian theology.
Gospel of 'Single one'
If they returned to the heart of Jesus, who had been determined to die on the cross as the sheep of redemption for all the sins committed by mankind, the providence predestined by God before Genesis would become clear, and the conflict of the Corinthian church among the factions of Paul, Apollos, Peter and Jesus could be overcome; Paul preached.
On the other hand, Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas asks the disciples to return to the androgynous Adam before Eve's separation, that is, to return to their "original self" and to stand on their own as "
Single ones."
Southern subitism and Northern gradualism
Zen Buddhism that Bodhidharma (菩提達磨) brought to China was divided into Southern Subitism Sect (南宗禅), which emphasized sudden enlightenment and Northern Gradualism Sect (北宗禅), which emphasized the gradual enlightenment, over the successor issue of the fifth patriarch HongRen (五祖弘忍601-675). Venerable HuiMing, who had pursued the sixth patriarch HuiNeng to seize back the robe and begging bowl as symbols of the Dharma Seal of Enlightenment, caught up with him at the Dayuling Mountains which is the border of Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces. The sixth patriarch HuiNeng yelled at venerable HuiMing in a loud voice, "Think neither good nor evil. Before your parents were born, at that very moment, what was Venerable Ming's original face (your intrinsic nature)?" Right then HuiMing sweated the whole body and came to enlightenment. He worshiped HuiNeng with tears in his eyes and asked again, "Besides the intimate words and meaning that struck home of a moment ago, is there any further intimate message?" Huineng said, "If it were said to you, it wouldn't be intimate. If you turn around and reflect, what's intimate is not in my words but within you." (The Gateless Barrier Case 23)
Since then, not only
Northern Gradualism Sect and Southern Subitism Sect but also five Houses and seven Schools (五家七宗) lined up and Zen Buddhism grew explosively.
Ephraim and Manasseh
Mahayana Buddhism is nothing but Gnosticism in India. The Ephraim and Manasseh tribes, who also came to the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese archipelago, mediated the fusion of the two currents.
The Paleo-Mongoloid population, which retains the "
Y chromosome D2" gene common to the Ephraim and Manasseh tribes, came to the Japanese archipelago via Sakhalin 16,500 years ago, long before the birth of Abraham and Moses.
After the Ephraim tribe established the first Yamato dynasty in the Kinki region from the late Jomon period to the early Yayoi period, descendants of the Manasseh tribe came to Japan via the Korean Peninsula in the Kofun period and established the Jimmu dynasty in Kitakyushu. And the second Yamato dynasty that the two were united is seen as the roots of the Japanese imperial family.
The arrival of the Hata Clan and Nestorians
In the eighth year (197 C.E.) of Emperor Chuai (仲哀天皇), who was the 14th Emperor counting from the first Emperor Jinmu (神武天皇), King Koman (功満) of the Christian nation of Yuzuki (弓月), who is said to have been the third generation grandson of Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇帝BC259-BC210), came to Japan with his servants. The son of King Koman led 18,670 people and came to the country during the reign of the 15th Emperor Ojin (応神天皇). This is thought to be the origin of a Christian called Hata came to Japan in large sums.
According to the book
Honchokouinjohunroku (本朝皇胤紹運録), which was compiled in the early days of Muromachi era (室町時代), the 27th Emperor Ankan had a prince called Toyohikomiko (豊彦王), and Toyohikomiko and Hata Kawakatsu (秦河勝) were the same person. Hata Kawakatsu was the patriarch of the Hata Clan (秦氏) and was active as a confidant of Prince Shotoku (聖徳太子). If this is the case, then Emperor Ankan's father, the 26th Emperor Keitai would also be a member of the Hata clan, and the current royal family of Japan, which belongs to Emperor Keitai's direct line, is likely to be the descendants of Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇) and the Manasseh tribe.
What is "Baptism with The Holy Spirit"?
According to the dialectic of the Gospel of John,
【Thesis】"A man can possess eternal life through accepting testimony of the Son of man and being baptized by him." (John 5:24)
【Anti-thesis】But "The one who comes from the earth cannot accept the testimony by one from heaven." (John 3:32)
How then can a man possess eternal life?
【Synthesis】"If you want to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, you can just go back to the word which was with God in the beginning (John 1:1) and certify that God is truthful. (John 3:33)"
When he said, "You are Huichao," Zen Master Fayan thrusted vivid Self in Huichao in front of his eyes.
