Cumulative value of exports for the whole fiscal year 2008-09 amounted to $168.59 billion, against $162.98 billion in 2007-08, logging a growth of 3.56 per cent. 【New Delhi】Showing early signs of revival, six core infrastructure industries grew 2.9 per cent in March, 2009, marginally higher than revised 1.3 per cent in the previous month(the provisional figure was 2.2 per cent). Growth of 2.9 per cent in March, 2009 is the highest increase in the last six months since September 2008. However it is flat compared to that in the same month in the previous year.
